Ministry of Truth

In researching the veracity of this I happened upon this. The former is too much of a red pill/blue pill issue to even bother discussing.

The latter... We have reached the point where there are laws against truth in labeling. Congratulations all ye neo-objectivists cum secular neo-cons, corporate apologists, and dogmatic free-marketeers, Monsanto is your child, and the Ministry of Truth your grandchild (one of many).

Watching the impressively coordinated handling of Ron Paul has been entertaining--rather like watching a game of chess except where one side gets to change the rules every turn. The game isn't really about who is going to win, because that is known at the outset. It's all about style and spin. Romney's campaign suspension was a daring tip of the hand, but...

Well, people will see it when they believe it.

Unfortunately the FDA has taken the red pill off the shelves.
