Wandering Heart



So I finally got my camera downloading again. The serial device with the proper size connector on our main Linux box was showing up as "device busy". After much research, I tracked it down to an IRQ conflict with our wireless networking card. I feel so dirty.

Once I grokked the problem, it occurred to me the other port should be working fine since it uses a free IRQ. So I swapped the cables on the motherboard and voila -- I have a usable camera again.

Too bad I didn't figure it out a couple days ago.

Anyway, amongst the images that have been trapped on my camera for the last week was this wandering heart, which Garrett* fine-tuned for zero-G so that it followed the air currents about the house all day:
