The Lizard Dance
Here're some pics of the lizards I mentioned earlier. Note here how the one on the right is jacked up high off the ground? It's in the position to run sideways. Yes, a new trick since last time--they actually run 90 degrees to their body orientation quite quickly, and impressively smoothly. You ever seen a lizard run sideways before??
Meanwhile in the east garden, the mystery fruit tree is bursting with new leaves and branches (and a plush tuft of garlic chives sprouting from its feet), the strawberries are producing a small basket a day, and I have more lemon grass than I know what to do with. Unfortunately, the bamboo gang is moving in to take over the neighborhood:
