Settling Dust

Michelle left yesterday, off on her travels, search for a new home, search for a new life.

My Megacorp project hobbles along, as do I. My foot is slowly getting better; I discovered today out of Ruby-transporting necessity that I can drive short distances if I wear my stiff-soled ice boots (see, being a pack-rat does pay off sometimes; I mean, why do I have ice boots in San Diego?). Yay--I don't have to scrounge through the cupboards and freezer for food.

I have a strong sense of anticipation again, only I don't know whether I'm looking forward to something great or wincing at the next tragedy.

Yes I do. It's both.
