Boston Microbes

Has anybody here, particularly if you're in the Boston area, had or heard of a weird cold or flu going around that goes, over the course of days: lung congestion -> sore throat -> sinus congestion, rather than the usual other-way-round? It's been a very odd time course and mix of symptoms. Can anyone enlighten me on what to expect from the rest of it?
