Never Hurts to Ask

After much persistence and polite indignation on my part, the ER doc has, beyond my expectations, canceled his portion of my bill entirely. He said he felt bad that the first clinic sent me to ER in the first place when they should have just directly referred me to plastics. [<pout> Just call me scar face. </pout>] Personally I think he should feel bad charging people $200 for two minutes of time ending in "sorry, can't help you", but whatever excuse works for him works for me.

$200! At my present rate of burn, that's five days of my life. All just on the whim of some guy regarding two minutes of his time.
